66-KV electric pole collapses in Sindhupalchok
KATHMANDU: An electric pole along the 66-kilovolt transmission line linked to Bhaktapur from Sunkoshi of Sindhupalchok has collapsed on Saturday Morning.
The Number Six pole along the Khadichaur-Andheri section collapsed, due to which around five megawatt power generated from the Sunkoshi Hydropower House could not reach Kathmandu.
The tower was in a fragile and shaky condition.
The Nepal Electricity Authority spokesperson Prabal Adhikari said that a technical team had been deployed to the site for maintenance.
