KATHMANDU: Police have recovered bodies of seven persons, who were buried after their house collapsed in a landslide triggered by the torrential rainfall at Bakaiya Rural Municipality-10 this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sunmaya Nyasur, her daughters Maya, Hira, Sanu, Maya and sons Palmo and Bikas.

The incident occurred at around 7:00 am on Sunday.

Dozens of settlements were inundated and hundreds of families were displaced by floods and landslides in the Makawanpur.
