BARA: A group of about 15 people robbed 7 houses in Haraiya VDC, Bara, on Tuesday early morning. According to the police, a total of about five hundred thousand worth of goods like jewelery, clothes and cash was looted from the house of Liladhar Lamsal, Netra Lal Pokhrel, Saraswati Shrestha, Moon Bahadur Rana, Tek Bahadur Ale, Buddhi Bahadur Ale and Ram Bahadur Malla. Although a team of police personnel, Madhubani Police Beat, had reached the village after being informed about the robbery, the robbers absconded after a crossfire between the police and the robbers.
