7 Nepalis killed in India
Lucknow, January 6:
A truck loaded with construction material swe-rved off a road and plunged into a river gorge in northern India, killing all nine people on board, including seven from Nepal, an official said.
The accident occurred late on last night near Almora, MBS Chawla, a government official, said.
“Nine people, including the driver, died instantly when the truck veered off the road and fell into the Panar River. Seven of the dead are from Nepal,” Chawla said.
