SURUNGA, JHAPA: The Jhapa District Police Office has arrested 70 convicts who were on the run for various crimes over a period of two months.

They were arrested from various places in the district, said the DPO.

"In this connection, the police apprehended 10 of the absconders on a single day when they had come home for festivals," Superintendent of Police Bishna Kumar KC said.

Police have intensified search for more absconders.
