RAJBIRAJ: At least eight passengers were injured when a bus hit a microbus at Hanumannagar in Saptari along the Rajbiraj-Bhardaha road section on Friday morning.

According to the Area Police Office, Hanumannagar, the incident took place when the bus (Lu 1 Kha 8036) heading towards Biratnagar from Rajbiraj hit the microbus (Ko 1 Jha 3669) enroute to the same direction from behind.

The injured are being treated at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded both vehicles and arrested their drivers for investigation.
