8-party unity a must: Bhattarai
Kathmandu, June 6:
Maoist leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai today said eight-party unity is a must until the country becomes a federal, democratic republic.
Commenting on the book Rajtantrako Artharajniti, authored by Surya Thapa, Bhattarai said the parties in the government must not widen their gap and give monarchy a chance to meddle. “A person like the Prime Minister should not have called the Young Communist League the ‘Young Criminal League.’ Speaker Subhas Nembang said the eight-party unity might be in danger if members of the government indulged in bellicosity.
