A child who was playing went a telephone cable that had fallen on the ground in the high winds on Thursday and was in contact with the electricity mains was killed on Friday at local Kholkhole. Eight-year-old Prabin Limbu, son of army serviceman Shamsher Limbu of Panchthar district who is now on assignment in Gorkha, was on his way home from school when the mishap occurred.
