Nepal's coronavirus caseload reached 792,367 on Monday with 975 more people testing positive for the infection in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 762,416 with 1,262 discharges logged today.
On the other hand, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll increased to 11,103 with seven more fatalities.
The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 18,848 against 19,142 a day before.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 15,488 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 12,081 were PCR tests while 3,407 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 4,174,503 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 307 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests amount to 1,282.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 96.2 %, while the fatality rate stands at 1.4%.
Currently, there are 256 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
The capital district holds the highest number of infections with 285 cases in the country. Kaski is second in line with 81 cases while Morang has 80 cases today.
So far, a total of 12,958,508 people has received coronavirus vaccine across the country, of which 6,793,456 have received the first dose while only 6,165,052 individuals have been inoculated with both the doses and are fully vaccinated.
Globally, over 232 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus while 4.7 million people have lost their lives to the disease.
Likewise, over 209 million people have recovered while more than 18 million cases are still active.
