JAJARKOT: Police arrested a man who was allegedly involved in a rape case in Jajarkot on September 15.

The suspect has been identified as Samsher Malla (38) of Bankejyula, Ghetma-8 in Rukum district.

Malla raped an 18-year-old girl who had returning from an oil mill, according to police.

Police said the mill was owned by the suspect himself.

Now, the victim is mentally disturbed and not in a condition to talk to anyone, the victim's father informed.

He daily live has been very much disturbed and does not care of her studies and hygiene, he added.

DSP Dan Bahadur Malla said police have initiated procedures to file a case against him.
