Accused in Singhania’s murder made public

Jakakpurdham, March 31

Dhanusha police today made public five perpetrators, including Chandra Deep Yadav alias Dharti Singh, who was held on the charge of murdering media entrepreneur Arun Singhaniya five years ago in Janakpur, at a press meet at the district police office.

According to DIG Pashupati Upadhyay, Chandra Deep Yadav, his wife Kalyani Devi Yadav, Sudeshwor Thakur, 21, of Sabaila-10, Rabin Yadav, 19, and Sundeshwor Thakur alias Bijay of  Ganeshman Charnath-2 were made public today.

All belong to Janatantrik Tiger Janashakti Party led by Chandra Deep.

Two pistols, 12 Nepali sim cards, two Indian sim cards, 31 bullets and four mobile sets were confiscated from them.

Similarly 73 bottles corex and various documents related to their underground outfit were also confiscated from them.

Police held Yadav, who had multiple criminal charges in the Tarai on Tuesday night.

He had been accused of shooting media entrepreneur Arun Singhaniya five years ago in Janakpur, besides killing Nepali Congress leaders Rajendra Yadav and shooting Nasim Rain of Birendra bazaar, among others.

As many as 15 activists aligned to the party have been arrested so far.
