KATHMANDU: Acting Chief of Army Staff Baldev Raj Mahat has begun inspecting various battalions and companies under the Eastern Regional Division.

In this connection, Mahat visited Shree New Ranabhim Company of Taplejung, Shree Ranabam Battalion of Bhojpur, Shree No 12 Brigade Adda of Chulachuli, Jhapa and Shree Kali Bahadur Battalion of Charali, Jhapa, said Nepal Army's Directorate of Public Relations.

During the inspection visit, Mahat garnered information about the logistics, training and other essentials.
