RAJBIRAJ: Agitators in the Tarai are preparing to form the longest ever human chain in human history to pile pressure on the government to heed to their grievances regarding the constitution.

Earlier, Unified Democratic Madhesi Front had called on the denizens of Madhes to be a part of the massive human chain on the 1,144km long East-West Postal road at 1:00pm on Thursday to pile pressure on the government to address the concerns of the agitating Madhesi parties.

According to Sadvawana Party national Vice-chairperson Nawalkishor Sah, the programme aims to draw the attention of people to the Madhes agenda. So far, the longest human chain recorded in thuman history is the one in Bangladesh. The chain was 1,050 km and was formed in 2010.
