AIIMS graduates form alumnus

The graduates of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have formed AIIMSONIANS-Nepal to bring together the professionals who have passed out from the institute and provide better services for the people of the country.

Stating that the AIIMSONIANS-Nepal chapter would help further strengthen the Indo-Nepal ties, Indian ambassador Shyam Sharan said, "This alumni association is bringing together professionals and forming a network of highly qualified medical personnel for the better good and greater services for the Nepalis."

AIIMSONIANS-Nepal president Dr Sunil Chandra Jha said some 80 per cent of AIIMSONIANS are practising in US, 10 per cent in UK, five per cent in Canada and Australia and only five per cent are ere serving the Nepalis.
