KATHMANDU:

The government has decided to provide allowance for the Maoist fighters through Local Implementation Committee in the PLA camps in the presence of UNMIN monitors. The panel decided this in a meet held under coordination of Peace and Reconstruction Minister and Convener of the Fighters’ Care and Management committee, Ram Chandra Paudel, on October 12. The Ministry said on Wednesday advance payment can be made to local Maoist commanders, but it should be cleared by UNMIN monitors’ report.
