Ambassador Khanal presents Letters of Credence to Czech President

KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Nepal to the Czech Republic Ramesh Prasad Khanal presented his Letters of Credence to Milos Zeman, President of the Czech Republic at the Presidential Palace in Prague on Wednesday amid a grand ceremony.

While presenting his credentials, ambassador Khanal conveyed cordial messages of goodwill and friendship from President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli respectively to President, the government and the people of the Czech Republic.

Welcoming Khanal as Ambassador of Nepal to the Czech Republic, President Zeman expressed his happiness over the progress made in bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Nepal over the years.

On the occasion, Ambassador Khanal gave a brief account on the recent socio-political developments in Nepal after the formation of the new government and further informed that the government's sole objective has been to achieve development and economic prosperity of the nation.

President Zeman also underlined the need for further deepening of bilateral relations through increased cooperation in trade, investment and tourism between Nepal and the Czech Republic. He expressed satisfaction over the understanding and cooperation of the Czech government and people to the aspirations of Nepal and Nepali people for peace, stability, economic progress and prosperity.
