Amber Gurung recuperating
KATHMANDU: Health condition of senior musician Amber Gurung, who has been hospitalised for over a month, is improving.
Gurung (78), who is suffering from different diseases including diabetes and Parkinson's, is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital, Delhi for the past one month.
Born in 1938 in Darjeeling, Gurung was referred to Medanta Hospital by the Grande Hospital. Around Rs 2 million has been estimated for the treatment of Gurung, said singer Komal Oli, quoting musician Manikamal Chhetri as saying.
Musician Chhetri is caring Gurung at the hospital.
