Kathmandu, January 6:

Maoist leader Dinanath Sharma today asked the government to promulgate interim constitution and announce date for constituent assembly polls in a week.

“The government must promulgate the interim statute and announce CA poll date within a week,” Sharma said. “It should not exceed further,” he said at a programme organised by the National Civil Society Nepal here today. Sharma was of the view that constituent assembly elections will strengthen national unity, and ensure stability and peace in the country.
