Bara Health Office is set to launch the national anti-filariasis programme 2020-21 from April 2.

Organising a press meet today, the health office provided information about the anti-filariasis programme. The programme that started 13 years ago, is about to kick off in 12 districts.

Of the total population, two per cent of people have been diagnosed with filariasis in Bara. Bara Health Office Chief Ram Naresh Yadav said the campaign was launched for the fourth time in Bara.

"The health office has set the target of administering medicine to all people above the age of 2 under the direct supervision of health workers," said Yadav.
