DHADING: An Armed Police Force Inspector has been killed in a bike collision at Baireni Bazaar of Dhading district along the Prithvi Highway this afternoon.

SP Sharad Prasad Khatri identified the deceased as APF Inspector Dhruva Thapa of Marlung-4 in Tanahun district.

Thapa was heading to Kathmandu after celebrating the Dashain festival on his two-wheeler (Ba 75 Pa 2967) while it collided head-on with a bike (Ba 69 Pa 1755) coming from the opposite direction.

Seriously injured Thapa was rushed to Kathmandu for further treatment, but he succumbed to the injuries, informed SP Khatri.

Police said Thapa was currently posted at the Dakshinkali-based APF battalion.
