BARA: More than ten locals of Beldari-7 were injured when Armed Police Personnel thrashed them indiscriminately last night. The injured persons including former VDC Chairman Loknath Raya Yadav, Jayaprakash Yadav and Omprakash Yadav, among others, are undergoing treatment at Kalaiya Hospital.

The security personnel had handed over Loknathraya Yadav, Jayaprakash Prasad Yadav, Om Prakash Yadav and Som Prakash Yadav to District Police Office Bara after severely beating them up. Police released them after the locals demonstrated in Kalaiya Bazaar today demanding their release. Bara CDO Taranath Gautam informed that they would take action against the culprit after investigation the case.

He informed that a team including SP Mansingh Mouni, DSP Nara Bahadur KC, representative of the DAO Bharat Panta and DSP of National Investigation Office Bara Ram Prasad Das had reached the incident site for the investigation. CDO Gautam informed that they would take action against the guilty as per the report submitted by the team.
