MAHOTTARI: An Armed Police Force (APF) staffer was killed in a motorcycle accident last night at Bauarwa Chok along the Jaleshwor-Matihani road section in Mahottari district.

The deceased has been identified as Head Constable Amit Kumar Singh (22) stationed at APF Border Security Office in the district.

His motorcycle (Ja 2 Pa 3467) had met with the accident while he was on his way to home in Manarakatti VDC-1 from his office, APF Superintendent of Police Prakash Shrestha said.

Seriously injured Singh had died in course of treatment at the Jaleshwor -based District Hospital.
