Around 600 quake survivors benefit from free health camp
MELAMCHI: A free health care camp was conducted in remote Listi VDC in Sindhupalchok district on Saturday, targeting the earthquake survivors.
An NGO called Farak Soch organised the health care camp and provided medicines for free to the needy.
Organisation’s Chairman Shangbu Sherpa said that as many as 600 locals were benefitted from the dental, paediatric and others services.
Lawmaker Mohan Bahadur Basnet, who was also present in the health care camp, said that the quake-hit people have realised a great sigh of relief after the health camp.
Most of the locals visiting the health camp were children and elderly as well as the patients cold-related sickness, it is reported.
