Attempted murder case against Panchthar shaman
PANCHTHAR: An attempted murder case has been filed against shaman Suk Bahadur Rai at the District Police Office, Panchthar, this morning.
Shaman Rai had burned bottom of a 14-month-old child in order to “chase away an evil spell of witch from him” in Oyam-1 of the district.

Dipson's father, Dhan Bahadur Rai, filed the case against shaman Rai, said Police Inspector, Ripendra Kumar Singh.
He said that investigation into the case would be forwarded now. Police have nabbed the shaman for probe.
The boy, meanwhile, has been brought to the District Hospital on Thursday.
