Janakpurdham, August 12:

Central member of the CPN (Maoist) and in-charge of its eastern command Ram Bahadur Thapa (Badal) said today “autocratic monarchy” was an obstacle to sovereignty, peace and progress of Madheshi people.

Speaking at an interaction organised by the Mithila Regional Coordination Committee of the Madhesh Rastriya Mukti Morcha, Badal said: “The Madheshi people will secure their rights through the constituent assembly elections. “They should be given the right to make decisions concerning them on their own through establishment of a Madhesh state in the country,” he said, adding: “Madheshi people should be appointed CDOs in districts of Madhesh.”
