CHITWAN: General Secretary of the UCPN-Maoist, Ram Bahadur Thapa ''Badal,'' on Wednesday said that a conspiracy was afoot to foil development and peace campaign in country.

He pointed out the need of scientific vision to foil such a plotto convert the peace process to its logical end. Badal was laying a foundation stone of a concrete bridge joining Bharatpur with Padmapur VDC of Chitwan. He reiterated that only scientific vision would establish durable peace. Now, the protest and talks were going on side by side, he said, adding that public pressure was essential to forge consensus.
