Six-year-old Binita Nepali from Barhabish of Budhiganga Municipality, Bajura has been left in the lurch after her mother died and father went out of contact.

Binita’s mother Durga died of profuse bleeding after she delivered a baby boy four years ago. She died at the age of 22 as the bleeding did not stop for three days after delivery.  A few days later, the new-born too breathed his last.

After the tragedy, Binita’s father Binod left for India seeking a job. Unfortunately, his whereabouts is still unknown.

Binita is currently studying in Grade I at Tripura Primary School. Her grandfather Chature is fending for her. Chature complained that the minor was facing a hard time coping with her studies for want of stationery materials. Chature is unable to continue his work due to old age.
