With the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly, the tenure of the interim legislature will automatically end. All the rights vested in the interim legislature will be transferred to the

Constituent Assembly from its first meeting onwards.

•The majority representation for the Constituent Assembly meeting to convene, must be at least ¼ of the total number of the Constituent Assembly members.

•To function as the legislative parliament

•To prepare and endorse the report of the Constitution

•To decide on opting for referendum as a means to settle decisions on disputed issues

•To decide on monarchy.
