Bandh called off in Jajarkot

JAJARKOT: The ongoing agitation and bandh in Jajarkot have been called off following the agreement on a new seven-province model on Friday.

As a result, things have got back to normalcy, with transportation service resuming since early this morning. Markets have opened too, and the schools will resume classes from Sunday, according to Rajendra Bikram Shah of the Joint Agitation Mobilisation Committee.

The district headquarters had come to a standstill for more than a week, as a result of civil agitation against the proposal to include Jajarkot in the Far-West province.
