UDAYPUR: A youth was critically injured in a clash that erupted between bandh enforcers and bandh defiers in Pipalchok of Udaypur on Tuesday.

Sanjiv Chaudhary (16), a cadre of the Tharu Kalyankari Sabha sustained serious injuries in the clash.

He is being treated at the District Hospital Udaypur.

The clash ensued after the bandh defiers pelted stones at bandh enforcers at Pipalchok this morning.

DSP Surendra Gurung of the District Police Office Udaypur informed that the security personnel have been deployed to prevent further possible clashes in Udaypur Bazaar.
