NEPALGUNJ: A teenager was found dead near a local hotel in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-22 of Banke district on Sunday.

The District Police Office has identified the deceased as Raj Babu Pathan (18) of Paraspur in the district.

DPO Spokesperson Bhim Kiran Bogati informed that Pathan had bruises and cuts induced from a weapon over his body when they found him yesterday.

In their preliminary report, police stated that he might have been died after being attacked by someone.

According to the police records, Pathan was earlier involved in robbery. He was also arrested for his involvement in the use of illegal drugs.

Police said the body would be handed over to the kin after postmortem.
