The results of elections in 12 local levels have been made public while vote counting is ongoing in another four in Bara district, as of writing.

Vote counting is currently ongoing in Mahagadhimai, Pacharauta municipalities and Aadarsh Kotwal, Baragadhi rural municipalities.

The major political parties have produced favourable electoral results in the 12 local levels of the district, vote count has concluded in all of which.

Among the 12 local levels, four have been claimed by CPN-UML, one by Maoist centre, two each by Nepali Congress and Janata Samajbadi Party.

Meanwhile, Sajha Bibeksheel Party has registered win in one local level and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has emerged victoriuos in two places.

CPN-UML candidates have won as both mayor and deputy mayors in Kalaiya sub-metropolis, Nijgadh municipality and Parwanipur, Prasauni rural municipalities.

Similarly, Maoist centre representative has claimed the mayoral post along side CPN-UML candidate as the deputy mayor in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolis.

In the same manner, Nepali Congress leaders too have won as both mayor and deputy mayor in Suwarna Rural municipality and Kolhabi municipality.

Karayaimai and Devtal rural municipalities have been won by Janata Samajbadi Party while in Pheta RM Sajha Bibeksheel candidate has won as the mayor.

Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has made local governments in Simraungadh Municipality and Bishrampur rural municipality.
