The Beni-Galeshwar section of the Kaligandaki Corridor road project falling in Myagdi is being blacktopped.
The laying of bitumen has started from Saturday in the Beni-Galeshwar section connecting Ward No. 9 Galeshwar to ward no. 8 Kalipul of Beni Municipality-8. The road falls under the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road of the Kaligandaki corridor.
After this road is blacktopped it will be easy for the residents of Raghuganga and Annapurna Rural Municipality, Mustang residents and tourists to travel to Manang and Mustang.
Mayor of Beni Municipality, Surat KC, said that regular monitoring, inspection and coordination have been done locally to complete this road section, which is the entrance to Muktinath.
According to the Office of Beni-Jomsom-Korala road project, the construction of seven packages of Beni-Jomsom-Korala road with a distance of 202 km has been completed.
