Bhaktapur, February 13:

The 18th council meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC), Bhaktapur, has passed an estimated budget of Rs 143.6 million for the fiscal year 2006/07. The council meeting, held under the chairmanship of Local Development Officer Bhuwan Prakash Bista, took the decision.

The DDC council meeting has stressed education, health, agriculture, road and social development for sustainable and overall development of the district.
