BHOJPUR: Bhojpur Municipality has decided to provide recommendation for eight services free of cost.

This decision came at a time when people have been complaining about the haphazard increment in taxes by the local government.

According to Mayor Kailash Kumar Ale, the municipality made the decision to ease the services provided to people and to relieve the burden of unnecessary taxation.

The municipality has decided to provide free recommendations for disability certificate, citizenship certificate, birth registration, health care, marriage registration, migration, divorce, and death registration.

It was decided that these services would be provided free of cost during the municipality meeting held on June 24. The municipal decision has been effective since September 17.

However, a late fee of Rs 50 will be enforced on individual cases that are not registered within 25 days of the incident, informed the municipality.
