Sindhulimadi, May 2

Nomination of candidates for different posts in the upcoming local level election has been completed in Sindhuli today.

Nepali Congress has nominated Upendra Pokharel and Sushila Thing for the posts of mayor and deputy mayor respectively of Kamalamai Municipality, while Khadga Khatri and Manju Devkota have been nominated for mayoral and deputy mayoral posts respectively from the CPN-UML.

Similarly, the CPN-MC has picked Sabitri Gajurel (Pande) and Sabitra Shrestha for the top two posts in Kamalamai Municipality. Naya Shakti Party Nepal has nominated Dirgharaj Shrestha and Bandana Subedi for the top two posts, while Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal has filed nominations for Indra Bhujel and Devaki Karki.

In Dudhauli Municipality, the NC, UML and CPN-MC have filed the nominations of Ganga Dahal, Ghanashyam Raut and Dinesh Adhikari respectively for the post of mayor. Chet Narayan Dhami from NC, Bal Kumari Danuwar from UML and Indira Kafle from CPN-MC have been nominated for the post of deputy mayor. The major three parties have also finalised their nominees for rural municipalities of the district.
