BHOJPUR: A biker died after an unidentified car hit a bike (Ko 16 Pa 3965) he was riding on at Sijuwa-9 of Morang along the Itahari-Urlabari road section on Saturday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the deceased has been identified as Padam Pradhan (22) of Itahara-6.

Police said that the four-wheeler fled the scene after the incident that occurred at around 3 pm yesterday.

Pradhan, who was critically injured in the incident, was rushed to the Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar but breathed his last during the course of treatment, police informed.

Police said that they are searching for the car and its driver.
