RUPANDEHI: A man was killed when a west-bound truck (Lu 1 Kha 831) hit a motorcycle (Lu 3 Pa 4580) moving toward the same direction in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-4 of Rupandehi on Wednesday noon.

The deceased has been identified as motorcyclist Ran Singh Thada (31) of Ruchad VDC-2 in Nawalparasi.

Police arrested the truck driver and took the vehicle under control, police said.
