CHITWAN: A man died while another was injured when a bus hit the motorcycle they were riding on, in Bharatpur of Chitwan district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Bharat Mahara (33) of Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan City-4.

The motorcycle (Na 41 Pa 6397) heading towards Narayangadh was hit by the bus (Na 3 Kha 9439) coming towards the same direction.

Pillion rider Bhimlal Tamang (32), local of the same area, was injured and is being treated at the Chitwan Medical College, informed police.

The bus is said to have lost control before it hit the motorbike along the downhill road, informed police

Other motorcycles were also hit by the bus, but no other causality has been reported.
