BJA assembly kicks off

DHANGADI: The assembly held between the journalists of Nepal and India in

Paliya, Khiri of India on Friday has formed Border Journalist Association (BJA).

The association has been formed to raise a voice against the problems created between the two countries and to find out the solution of the problem.

Hikmat Rawal, politburo head of Avenues television of the far western region was selected as the chairman of the association.

Likewise Yogesh Rawal, a journalist from Dhangadi and Mohamad Sakil, another journalist from Khiri were selected as vice chairmen. Harish Sriwastav from Khiri has been appointed secretary.

Similarly, Dil Bahadur Chasyal, from Dhangadi and NK Mishra from Khiri are united secretaries, while Mehebub Aalav was made treasurer. The assembly has also selected five defender member committees.
