SURUNGA, JHAPA: The Body of a man, who was swept away by Kankai River in Jhapa district on Sunday, was recovered around 500 metres downstream today.

The deceased has been identified as Kamal Phuyal (29) of Shivasatakshi Municipality-7 in Jhapa district.

Phuyal was washed away while crossing the river yesterday, police said.
