Bombs detonated, ambulance vandalised

Biratnagar/Nepalgunj, Feb 25:

Cadres of the Madhesi Mukti Tigers (MMT) detonated two socket bombs in the Biratnagar-based Raghupati Jute mill this evening, police said, adding that the explosion caused minor damage to the mill. Meanwhile, four cadres of the Sanyukta Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (SJTMM) detonated two bombs in front of the main gate of district education office

and near the office of border security force in the Gaur municipality area. However, the damage has left not harm, police said. District coordinator of the SJTMM Prasanta Barma has owned up the explosion.

Meanwhile, cadres of the UMDF vandalised an ambulance in Jamuni of Bardiya district, police said, adding that UMDP cadres attacked and injured police constable Dipendra Bhatta, who was on duty in front of the Nepalgunj-based Banke district office of the NC.
