KAVREPALANCHOK: A 14-year-old boy has gone missing since Friday from Dhunganabesi.

Whereabouts of Samrat Mainali -- son of journalist Ishwari Rajkumar Mainali of Tinpiple, Paanchkhal Municipality-6 -- has not been known since 10:00 am yesterday.

Samrat had gone to Nawa Pratibha Boarding School at Dhunganabesi on Friday morning to meet his friends but did not return home. A search operation was started but he has not been found even till Saturday morning, said Ishwari Mainali. Samrat is a sixth grader at the school.

Ishwari is the editor of Prabhatferi, a vernacular weekly published from Kavre.

The District Police Office has mobilised police personnel to search for Samrat.
