MAHOTTARI: A teenager had been arrested on the charge of murdering two persons including his mother of Hatisarwa VDC-6 in Mahottari district on Monday.

According to Superintendent of Police Janak Bhattarai, Motiram Mahara (18 )was arrested for murdering his mother on Sunday, suspecting her of having an illicit relationship with a man from Meghnath Morhanna VDC-7.

Bhattarai further said that Mahara was nabbed for allegedly murdering his mother Ram Kumari Devi (45) and Bidhya Paswan of Meghnath Morhanna VDC-7 for their illicit relationship.

Police had recovered the dead bodies of Ram Kumari and Paswan from the building of Dalit Promotion Club in Meghnath Morhanna.

Police said that further investigations into the case are under way.
