BIRATNAGAR: A boy died after he was attacked with a sharp weapon in Taplejung district on Saturday night.

The Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar identified the deceased as Suman Limbu (14) of Sanwa VDC-7.

According to police, local residents Anup Thalang (22) and Prem Thalang (21) attacked Limbu with a Khukuri over a minor dispute.

Anup was arrested while Prem is still absconding.
