KAWASOTI: A bridge over the Baulaha River collapsed after a truck crashed into it in Devchuli-12 along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi on Sunday.

The truck (Na 6 Kha 3017) travelling towards west crashed into the bridge, after which the bridge collapsed and dangled like a suspension bridge.

Following the unprecedented incident, pedestrians, passenger buses and freights have been stranded in the area.
