JAJARKOT: The construction of a bridge over Pasagadh rivulet under the Bheri Corridor has witnessed no progress even after 10 years of vehicular movement along the Chhinchu-Jajarkot road section.

The construction work has seen no progress so far due to sheer negligence of the road division office.

Locals in Jumla and Dolpa have been facing difficulties in absence of bridge over the rivulet.

Kali Bahadur Pun, a local, complained that the bridge might have been completed two years ago but it is still in limbo.

Road Division Chaurjhari Office Engineer Sushil Poudel shared that the construction works could not be forwarded as the design map and geo-location did not match. “It needs to be redesigned after studying the location.”
