Nepalgunj, January 24 :

British ambassador Andrew Hall has said that Maoist chairman Prachanda has no command over the grassroot level cadres. He was here today in connection with a tour in the capacity of UN permanent member to the security council.

“The commitment made by Maoist chairman Prachanda is not followed by his party cadres,” he said, adding: “This should be overcome to hold the constituent assembly poll in a fair and impartial manner.” He said Britain would provide all possible assistance in the peace process.
