KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 16

An aircraft of Buddha Air made an emergency landing in Bharatpur on Thursday after one of its engines failed.

According to the company's freshly issued statement, flight no. 360 from Bharatpur to Kathmandu with 19 passengers onboard had to make an emergency landing in Bharatpur when its left engine failed.

The Beechcraft plane 9N-AEE had taken off at 1:16 pm and was on air for two minutes when the pilot requested a return to the Bharatpur airport.

A pilot, a copilot, and a cabin crew member were deployed for this journey. According to the airline, all of the passengers and staff are doing well.

"Preparation is being made to transfer those passengers to another flight and flown to Kathmandu," Buddha Air added.

Other flights from and to Bharatpur have been impacted as a result of the event.
