Buddha Air plane makes emergency landing in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: A Buddha Air aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at the Biratnagar Airport today after the Kathmandu-bound plane witnessed some technical glitches.

The aircraft carrying 66 passengers including four-member crew had left Bhadrapur Airport of Jhapa.

Chief at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Biratnagar office, Suresh Man Singh, the plane was forced to make the emergency landing at 12:48 pm today after its engine heated.

The Biratnagar-based Buddha Air office said a technical team was called from Kathmandu for maintenance of the aircraft.
